Today's Assignments:
- Module 10 Lesson 1 Notes/CYK
- Module 10 Lesson 1 Practice Activity
Module 10 Lesson 1 Notes/CYK
Lesson 1 is Habits of Disciplined Leaders. The notes include the following topics: Discipline and Habits, Negative Habits, How to Break a Negative Habit, Positive Habits, Be Responsible, Be Reflective, and Be Resilient. After you read and take notes on the lesson, complete the CYK. *Note that this CYK is found on the next page in Canvas. Since you are taking the quiz in Canvas, you will not need to screenshot anything:)
Module 10 Lesson 1 Practice Activity - Overcoming Negative Habits
For the Overcoming Negative Habits Practice Activity, start by completing the template. Consider the goals you have set since the beginning of the course -- your leadership goals, your goals to overcome obstacles, etc. Then chose the habit you consider to be the most negative in your life. Explain the habit and then get proactive -- what have you learned in this module to help you break this habit?

Tips for Template:
- Remember to include leadership strategies from the notes. What ideas from the notes can you try to help break your habit?
- Be sure to fully explain your ideas.
- Remember to write a complete reflection - a sentence is not a true reflection of your leadership nor of your understanding of the lesson.
Tips for Discussion Board
- Remember to specifically address the "R." Which "R" do you recommend your classmate work on first in order to overcome his/her negative habit?
- Avoid vague replies. How can your classmate be more "R"? What specific advice can you offer using the notes?
