    Module 1 Pre-Assessment
The pre-assessment is required to move forward in the module but since it is formative, it does not affect your grade.  Take your time and assess your prior knowledge.
Module 1 Lesson 1 Notes - Check Your Knowledge
Lesson 1 is "All About You."  You will learn about self-reflection and how it affects your life as well as your leadership. The notes are divided into the following topics:  Begin Your Leadership Journey,  What is self-reflection?, How do you self-reflect?, What are the benefits of self-reflection?, Why is self-reflection necessary for leaders?, and the Value of Self-Reflection. The last page of your notes includes a Check Your Knowledge assessment. Take the assessment and then take a screenshot of your results. Take a moment to check your screenshot to be sure it includes enough information to identify which quiz you completed.
Module 1 Lesson 1 Assignment - All About Us Padlet and Discussion Board
Create and share an “All About Me” Padlet that introduces you to the class. If you are unfamiliar with Padlet, click on the tutorial provided in the directions. Follow the directions as well as the rubric so that you include everything required.  Be sure to explain your ideas - the explanations show who you are!  I have attached a visual to help you post your Padlet's URL. After posting your own Padlet, reply to at least TWO of your classmates' posts. For information about how to write quality replies, go to https://www.smore.com/gqv59.
Module 1 Lesson 2 Notes - Check Your Knowledge
Lesson 2 is "Setting Up for Success."  The notes are divided into the following topics:  Identify Your Strengths and Weaknesses, What are goals?, SMART Goals, CLEAR Goals, Leadership Vision.  If you cannot see the notes, follow the directions at the top of the page to enable mixed media.  There is also a video to help you if you learn best with visuals.  At the end of the notes, take the Check Your Knowledge assessment. Then screenshot your results - avoid posting just your score by including enough of the quiz to identify which quiz you took.
Module 1 Lesson 2 Assignment - Leadership Roadmap
Today you are going to assess your strengths and weaknesses and use one of them to build a Leadership Roadmap.  First, review the rubric for the Leadership Roadmap. Then follow the steps listed in Canvas.
A little bit about Prezi...If you are not familiar with Prezi, it is an amazing presentation application (and it is free!). There is a tutorial posted in the assignment. Once you create an account and click "Create a New Presentation," search for the maps and/or roadmaps templates. Chose the one that fits your personality. When you are ready to post your Prezi, click on share to get the link to your Prezi.  If you know how, feel free to embed it -- if you want to learn how to do so, let me know and I will show you.
    Module 1 Post-Assessment
What are the important ideas from this module?  Before you take your post-assessment, review the entire module. Read the introductions, review your Lesson 1 and Lesson 2 notes, and take a look at your practice and assignment activities as well.  Be sure to view the flash cards at the beginning of each set of notes so that you understand the vocabulary. When you take the post-assessment, remember good test-taking skills:

    • Breathe before you open the assessment.  Relax your body so that it will help you relax your mind.
    • Read the entire question including all answers before selecting one. Look for the central idea of the question - what is the main point?
    • Check over your work before you submit it. If you have a problem submitting, try once more. If you still a problem submitting the assessment, let me know and take screenshots of your intended answers.
