Week is due today.
Weeks 1 and 2 will not be counted late.  For missing work, I will be using zeros as placeholders -- once you turn in the missing Week 1 or Week 2 work, I will replace the zero with your earned grade.
Starting in Week 4, I will leave 3 weeks open at a time -- the previous week, the current week, and the upcoming week.  All other weeks will be closed so be sure to use your time wisely while weeks are open!
Need reminders of due dates? To help you keep up with deadlines, use your course calendar. Click on View Calendar in the far right column of our homepage. You can also use your checklists. On the second page of each module, you will find a checklist of assignments for that module/week. Another way to keep up is to sign up for Remind texts/emails.  To sign up for early calendar (EC) reminders, text @ecdettman to 81010.
Amazing word clouds, team!  Many of you problem-solved to create your word clouds.  If your computer at home or school does not accept an application assigned in any of your weeks, go back and read the alternative applications listed with the original assignment.  You can also contact me if you find that none of the recommended alternatives work either.  The process of problem-solving is just as important as the task!
If you had trouble posting your word cloud, try one of the tips below:
You can use the above tips for any of the web 2.0 tools this semester -- padlet, animoto, etc.
Ready, learn, lead!

In Week 3 Lesson 2, Maxwell explains the boomerang principle.  Just like the actual boomerang, whatever you decide to throw out into the world will fly away, circle back and come back to you. If may sound too simplistic, however the boomerang principle is true.  When someone around you throws out joy, you usually catch it and feel joy yourself; when someone throws out rudeness, you catch that as well.  What do you want to throw out into the world?
Practice the boomerang principle daily.  It only takes a few minutes a day to put positive out into the world. Maxwell says “When you go into your day planning to do an intentional act of kindness, you begin focusing on others, which is a key to significance.”  Throw out kindness today.  Text me with the results!
