While thinking about your speech assignment this week, I would like for you to listen to the speech that President John F. Kennedy, Jr. gave before the world when he announced the United States decision to go to the moon. Think about all the response both negative and positive he received. What qualities and characteristics can be heard of his leadership in this speech? How can you apply those to your speeches?
The speech is about 45 minutes long, but you get the idea within the first 10 minutes. Feel free to listen to the whole speech!
