Week 5 began yesterday!  It is due today however please contact me if you are unable to meet that deadline.  I posted another progress report last night -- remember I post one each Tuesday.  I will send a grade report to your parents this week as well.  Keep those Windshield Checks coming!  I should hear from you by tomorrow.

I am still in Florida but am still available if you have questions -- text me using Remind or my number 919-435-2008.  If I do not reply, it means I do not have wifi -- I will get back to you in the evening.  I will do my best to get Weeks 3 and 4 graded with feedback ASAP.  I have not had as much free time as I expected to grade your assignments -- thank you in advance for your understanding.  We are returning home in 2 days so like some of you, I will use the weekend to catch up:)

Week 5 continues!  Remember if you have trouble with a link, try copying and pasting it into a new tab or a new browser.  If the Goldsmith link is not cooperating, try using http://www.inc.com/author/marshall-goldsmith
The internet and smart technology has so much to offer leaders.  When you have an issue with a skill, the cliche is correct...there is an app!  Consider apps to help with the following:
  • personal growth
  • communication
  • productivity
  • inspiration
  • creativity
  • collaboration
Go to http://www.inc.com/shawn-murphy/10-great-apps-every-leader-needs-to-be-effective.html to find specific app recommendations that will help you sharpen your leadership skills.  Not all of the apps are free, but once you find an app you like, you can search for similar ones to meet your needs.

Before posting any of your assignments, ask yourself the following questions:
a. Did I follow all instructions?                                                                                                                       b. Did I completely answer the questions?
c. Do I clearly reflect that I understand and am thinking about the topic?  Did I use any weekly vocab?
d. Do I clearly reflect that I am applying the topic to my life--asking questions, giving examples, etc.?
