Got a bad grade?  Start with your grade book. Use https://www.smore.com/7bm60-got-grades
as well as the tips below to help you.
  1. Review the rubric -  Read each of the rubric criteria (the rows).  For each criterion, determine which rating you received.  Read any instructor notes posted - they show up under the title of each criterion on the left side of the rubric.  If you do not receive full points and the criterion is not self-explanatory, I post feedback.  If I have something specific about an idea in your work (ex. what your M1L2P Part 1 online quiz score means), I post that here as well.
  2. Read my grade book feedback -  In addition to the feedback I put into the rubric about specific criterion, I leave overall feedback.  If you need to focus on something specific like replies, I refer you to back to the rubric.  I also add enrichment ideas in the overall feedback so that if you want to learn more, you have at least one resource to help you.
  3. Review the assignment directions -  Read the directions again.  Did you miss a step? Did you misunderstand a requirement?
  4. Read the tips from the archived announcement - Each day I post detailed announcements.  In the instruct section of each announcement, I explain the daily assignment(s) and offer specific tips to help you do the day's work.  If you are making up or redoing work, these tips are vital and can make the difference between you doing well or having to continue working.  There is a pattern to what I include under "Today's Assignment."  If you have not noticed it, here is that pattern:  TUESDAY - Module Pre-Assessment, Lesson 1 CYK, Lesson 1 Practice Activity;  WEDNESDAY - Lesson 1 Assignment;  THURSDAY - Lesson 2 CYK, Lesson 2 Practice Activity; FRIDAY - Lesson 2 Assignment;  MONDAY - Module Post-Assessment
