Got missing work? Prevention is the best medicine! To prevent missing deadlines, sign-up for Remind by texting @ecdettman to 81010 and you will not miss a due date! You can also find a printable due date calendar under the quick link "Course Documents." But if you do miss a deadline, be sure you understand the NCVPS late work policy's effect on your final assignment grade: 10% off the 1st week late, 20% off the 2nd week, and then 40% starting the 3rd week. Please note that you must talk to me about the assignments you want to make up and make a plan that includes a list of assignments as well as due dates -- leaders take responsibility and self-advocate.

Today's Assignment:
- Module 3 Lesson 2 Assignment - Time Management PSA
You have learned about time management and its effect on leadership this week. For today's Public Service Announcement, you are going to put everything you have learned together and share it. In a presentation style of your choosing, tell rising freshmen about time management. Read the assignment directions so you know what to include. As a PSA, your job is to be honest but hopeful. Bring your school community together by welcoming freshmen! Remember to address leadership in your product! Use the following tips to help you:
- Keep your audience in mind throughout your message. What could you add to make it more audience-centered? What would you want to hear or see if you were the freshman receiving this presentation?
- Per the directions and the rubric, your entire PSA should focus on how time management helps leadership. What does time management have to do with student leaders?
- Be clear and explain your ideas using knowledge from Lesson 2. What have you learned from your assignments this week that can help you with procrastination?
Need more information? Time management and teens...many adults do not believe that the two go together. This week, you have destroyed the myth! Teens and time management can co-exist! Read more about the facts about teens and why you are very capable of time management by clicking on the visual below. Use what you learn from the lesson, the website resource, and your life experience to help you write your PSA.
