Today's Assignment:
- Module 2 Lesson 2 Assignment
Module 2 Lesson 2 Assignment - Earth Colony Discussion Board
For Lesson 1 Practice, you completed a template to help you decide who should go to Earth's colony on Mars. This assignment asks you to post your decision to the class discussion board and then to reply to at least 3 classmates. Be sure your post is detailed and addresses the prompt - your classmates cannot reply to your post if it is not complete. Your replies are very important because they should affirm your classmates' ideas as well as connect those ideas to the leadership traits from Lesson 2 notes. Be sure to read the directions as well as the rubric carefully. Each reply must show common ground, cooperation, and compromise. Tips:
- For discussions, click the settings wheel in the top right corner to see rubric.
- Remember that you will not see what other students post until you submit your own work.
- Read through multiple classmate posts before you choose those for which you want to reply. If you cannot find anything that promotes common ground, cooperation, and compromise, do not reply to that classmate's post. Find classmates' posts that you can reply to successfully.
- Use your resources. Review instructions for writing and examples of quality replies below. If you cannot see the smore, go to https://www.smore.com/gqv59 (Links to an external site.).
Need More Information?
Once students participate in the Earth Colony discussion forums, they start to look at forums differently and begin to see the role they can play in developing leadership skills. Still wondering how forums can help you or just want to ace your discussion board assignments? Click on the visual below to get a fresh perspective before you complete today's assignment:
