- You have 3 activities to complete from December 4-December 14. You can complete these activities at school or at home. Read the course message as well as archived announcements for more details about your activities.
- Got exam anxiety? Read last Tuesday's announcement for tips on how to handle those worries and fears.

Remember that NCVPS weights your final exam activities as 20% of your final grade. Your school has the final say in the percentages they use on your report card.
Flashback...remember the following tips for going through the lessons? Apply the following tips to your final exam activities:
- Remember that the notes you read in our course are our textbook -- when you read, read it with meaning. Take notes on the guided notes template. When you write down something you learn, it helps you remember it.
- Pre-read the directions and the rubric so you know what to look for as you go through the lessons.
- Make connections to your life as you go through lessons -- if an example or phrase speaks to you, use it to help you complete your assignments.
- Remember to look for the weekly vocabulary in the lessons as well. They always show up in your post-assessment!
Got Resources? NCPVS provides lots of resources outside of our course to support you. For virtual help from a peer, go to the Peer Tutoring Center. For technology issues, issue a help desk ticket with the Virtual Support Center. To learn more about the world around you, attend a Culture Cafe session. You researched a real-world teen leader yesterday - today you will share what you learned with your classmates. Using the application of your choice (PowerPoint, Canva, Prezi, etc.), create a presentation to introduce your leader to the class. Use your practice activity template as your planning.
Tips:
- As you create your presentation, be sure you are making the presentation inviting, professional, and interesting.
- How can you present the information without just copying and pasting information from your practice template?
- What visuals can you add to make your presentation more appealing?
- Remember to make quality replies and avoid vague language. Be specific, affirm your classmate's ideas, and connect your response to the content.
