Module 13 Day 5 - Monday, November 19 EARLY

Today marks the end of Module 13 - all work is due by midnight.  I hope you enjoy your short week at school and have a wonderful holiday break!  NCVPS is closed Thursday and Friday of this week for the Thanksgiving holiday.  You will be able to access the course during the break.

Today's Assignment:

Module 13 Post-Assessment 

Take a few minutes to review the notes and any guided notes you created. Review the vocabulary found at the beginning of each lesson notes. Then take the post-assessment. While you take it, read each question and answer choice twice. Eliminate the answers you know are not correct and then choose the best answer based on your understanding. Taking this post-assessment is not only part of your grade, but it is also good practice for the multiple choice portion of your final exam.
Need More Information?
This week you have explored state and local leadership.  As you move forward, consider the importance of local leadership.  Which research was more enlightening - state or local?  For most students, finding local leaders offers the biggest a-has.  I encourage you to stay connected to your local community and to follow-through with the community service ideas you included in your work.  While it is easy to be upset by what state and national leaders do or do not do, it is really the local leaders who impact your daily life.  Take a moment to read an editorial from the New York Times about the importance of local leadership.  To access the article, click on the visual below:
