Today's Assignment:
  • Module 9 Lesson 2 Assignment
Module 9 Lesson 2 Assignment - Looking Fear in the Face
Just as you did for Lesson 1, you are going to plan out how to overcome an obstacle only this time, the obstacle will be internal.  You will add to Lesson 1's Storybird and then post the product as you did on Tuesday.  Go back to this week's earlier announcements and view the Storybird tutorial if you need a reminder of how to use the tool.
Tips:
  • Remember to reference what you learned in the notes about how to handle internal obstacles. The notes discuss surrounding yourself with a supportive inner circle, believing in others, loving yourself unconditionally, and taking a moment to gain perspective - how can you apply those ideas to your Storybird?
  • Inner Circle - The notes discuss surrounding yourself with supportive, positive, and encouraging people. With who will you surround yourself?
  • Gain Perspective - The notes discuss taking a moment to gain perspective by journaling, brainstorming, or doing something artistic. What will you when everything is swirling around in your mind?
  • Love Yourself - What can you add from the notes that would help you get to where you want to go? For example, the notes discuss loving yourself unconditionally. What will you do to embrace self-reflection?
  • Believe in Others - What can you add from the notes that would help you get to where you want to go? For example, the notes discuss being tolerant and inspiring others. What will do to embrace tolerance?
  • If you use an alternative application, be sure to add visuals and include a Works Cited or References section.
