Catch-up Week continues through Monday.  A few things to keep in mind...
  • Modules 1-8 are open.
  • NCVPS Late Work Policy does not apply to any work turned in late due to the Hurricane.
  • You do not have a midterm in our course, but you are midway through the course. Since your final exam includes a multiple choice test, take time this week to review what you have learned in Modules 1-8
Use your time this week to do the following:
  • Complete any missing assignments.
  • Redo any assignments for which you did not receive full credit.  Remember to send me an inbox message or a text if you add replies to classmates to any discussion board.
  • Review the content from Modules 1-8.  Look at your guided notes or take a few minutes to run through the notes (which all work at this time!). You can also look back at Monday announcements where I post content reviews before you take your post-assessments.
  • Work ahead on Module 9.  You will still have a normal week to work on this module in addition to this week.  Let me know if you have questions about the assignments.
If you are following the recommended schedule for dividing the modules in order to make-up, redo and/or review the following for the remainder of the week:
  • Friday - Modules 7-8
  • Monday - Start Module 9
Important Dates
  • Catch-Up Week October 9-15
  • Progress Report October 18
  • Module 9 Obstacles in Leadership Due October 22
  • Module 10 Disciplined Leadership Due October 29
  • Progress Report November 1
  • Module 11 Visionary Leadership Due November 5
  • Module 12 Committing to Lead Due November 13
Got Resources?  NCPVS provides lots of resources outside of our course to support you.  For virtual help from a peer, go to the Peer Tutoring Center. For technology issues, issue a help desk ticket with the Virtual Support Center. To learn more about the world around you, attend a Culture Cafe session. Click on the visual below to explore all of the resources NCVPS provides to you:

Reviewing is so much easier now that there are online tools to help you.  A favorite tool of teachers and students is Quizlet.  It is free to create an account...all you need is an email.  Go to quizlet.com and start creating sets like the one below to help you review vocabulary.  Quizlet will let you play games or just use the flashcard feature to go through a set of words.  Have fun!
