Welcome to Final Exam Week! Your final exam activities module is open and is due Friday, August 10. Final Exam Activities Module Assignments are weighted equally and include the following:
- Leadership CV/Cover Letter - you will use what you have learned as well as the work you have completed in the course to create YOUR own leadership CV (curriculum vitae). Your leadership CV (a detailed resume) will include your current leadership goals, skills, positions, mission, etc. and will also include at least 3 work samples from your Leadership Development coursework. There are detailed directions as well as a detailed rubric in the assignment to help you:) Use the template to PLAN your CV and then create your CV using an application of your choice (Word, Google, Canva, etc.). Once your CV is complete, write a cover letter that meets the assignment requirements. **You have written a resume as well as a cover letter in our course before...now you are creating for YOU! ***See archived announcements for details and tips on how to complete your resume and cover letter.
- Empowering Others Discussion Board - you will share your philosophy, your progress, and your fears with your classmates one last time and send them off feeling empowered. Be sure to use your leadership skills to create an awesome post and to craft quality replies to at least 3 of your classmates. There are detailed directions as well as a detailed rubric in the assignment to help you:) Keep in mind that this assignment should be done after you complete your Leadership Resume. Think back to Module 14 - to empower means to give someone the courage and the power to do something. In the "Empowering Me" assignment, you created a stick figure that listed the specific ways you are empowered as well as how you want to continue to be empowered in the future. Use this image along with your leadership resume to help you with the Empowering Others Discussion Board. Now that you have a clear vision of your own leadership, send-off your classmates by empowering them to grow. Remember the barriers to empowerment you learned - ego, competition, control, resistance to change, and lack of patience. When you read your classmates' posts, which of these barriers relate to their fears? How can you empower each classmate to overcome these barriers and thus his/her fears? - Final Exam Multiple Choice Assessment - You will showcase your content knowledge by taking a traditional final exam. It has 50 questions (a mixture of true/false and multiple choice). You will have ONE attempt at this exam. Before you take your assessment, review the archived announcements for tips on how to prepare and to study.
