Module 13 is due today and Module 14 is due Friday. Our course ends Friday, August 10. If you are behind, you need to make a plan and catch up. If you wish to finish early, go ahead and look at previous announcements for tips to get ready for exam activities so you are prepared. Module 15 is our last week of new material so you are only a few modules away from finishing the classwork portion of the course. You got this!

Module 14 is Empowering Others. As you complete your assignments this week, think back on a time when someone's leadership empowered you to be better. How did that person, empower you? Did he/she increase your abilities? Did he/she enable you to be the best you could be? Dictionaries define EMPOWER as "to give someone more control over their life or more power to do something." Consider the people you have referenced and met during this semester and apply their support to this definition. Empowerment is more than believing in you -- someone can empower you and not know you.

Lesson 2 is "How to Empower Your Followers." You will explore the following topics: Benefits of Empowering Others, How to Empower Others, Dialogue, Feedback, Trust, Delegation, Empowering Generation Z. When you screenshot your quiz results, be sure to include enough information to identify which quiz you took.
Module 14 Lesson 1 Assignment - Empowering Me
You will create a stick figure version of yourself that shows your potential as well as your dedication to being an empowering leader. For each "body part," use the key at the bottom of the template to fill out each section. Be sure you explain each section. For example, you may write a quote for the mouth section but be sure you explain what the quote means to you and to your empowered self. Remember to review previous assignments where you explored your goals, mission, and/or vision. Looking back is a self-reflective practice and will get you ready for your final exam activities.
