Mission statements are part of a leader's roadmap.  Think of them as your thesis as opening paragraph to your essay on your leadership development.  As you learned in the lesson notes, a mission statement is a mantra that gives you more focus and more purpose on a daily basis.  Click on the "Begin With the End in Mind" image below to read the personal mission statements from 5 CEOs:

Today's Assignment:
  • Module 11 Lesson 2 Assignment
Module 11 Lesson 2 Assignment
For the Lesson 2 Practice, you wrote a group mission statement with your assigned Module 11 Group.  For this assignment, use the same process outlined in the notes that you used for the practice activity to write a personal mission statement.  Follow the directions, follow the models from the notes, and check your work with the rubric.  The template will guide you as you create your personal mission statement.  Be sure to include leadership ideas in your final mission statement!  After you write your final mission statement, review it so you are certain it contains the required elements.
