Module 8 is due tomorrow.
Before posting any of your assignments, ask yourself the following questions:
- Did I follow all instructions found in the directions as well as in the rubric?
- Did I completely answer the questions?
- Do I clearly reflect that I understand and am thinking about the topic as it relates to leadership? Did I use any weekly vocab?
- Do I clearly reflect that I am applying the topic to my life and my leadership development --asking questions, giving examples, etc.?
Got missing work? Previous weeks remain open. NCVPS Late Work Policy applies to all work turned in past the due date. Next week is a Catch-Up Week. Without a new module assigned, you will be free to catch-up missing assignments, redo assignments for which you did not receive full credit, and/or work ahead on Module 9. It is not a week off so be sure to read announcements daily and work on the things that fit your course needs.

Today's Assignment:
- Module 8 Lesson 2 Assignment
Module 8 Lesson 2 Assignment - US Leaders Resume and Cover Letter
In this assignment, you will use what you learned in Lesson 2 along with research you completed in the Lesson 2 Practice Activity to create a resume and cover letter for one of the leaders in Lesson 2. Your job is to focus on leadership experience and show why the American leader is great. Start by writing an objective - use the objective starter in the assignment directions. Find a resume template and create your leader's resume. There are recommended applications in the directions and sample of resumes above in this announcement. Then compose a cover letter that includes the elements listed in the directions. Not only does this activity showcase how you apply your knowledge, it gives you the chance to practice resume-writing which is a necessary college and work-place skill.
