Module 7 continues and is due Friday.  
A few reminders about your work...
  • Focus on leadership.  Connect your ideas to your leadership journey and not just your life journey. 
  • Relate your work back to the content.  As you consider decision-making this week, apply the lesson notes so it is clear you understand what you are learning.
  • Read all directions.  Read the directions in the modules and the templates.  Read the rubrics.

As you consider alternatives to a decision made in history or in a book/novel/poem, you may need some inspiration.  Click on the visual below to read one such alternative described in an interview with an author in The Atlantic. Enjoy "What If America Had Lost the Revolutionary War?" - as the book author notes, alternative history is like a funhouse mirror!

Module 7 Lesson 2 Notes and CYK
Lesson 2 is Decision-Making Process.  The notes include the following topics: Question, Information, Analysis, Options, Evaluate, Implement, Feedback, Loop of the Decision-Making Process. When you screenshot your CYK results, be sure to include enough of the quiz to identify which one it is that you took.
Module 7 Lesson 2 Practice
Complete the template by describing alternative decisions to decisions that have been made in history or in literature. In other words, you get to change the outcome of a decision made by another person.  You may choose one of the leadership decisions listed on the template or create your own leadership example.  Explain the original decision in Part 1.  For Part 2, offer an alternative decision to the original decision you chose in Part 1.  Alternate decisions should reflect different decision-making approaches and address the consequences of those different approaches.  You are not trying to choose the perfect solution but the solution that best fit the problem (in this case the problem in history or in a book).  Follow the decision-making process and explain your ideas fully for each section.  Be sure to reference the lesson notes so that it is clear you are applying what you learned.  The final decision-making step is to decide - as the template directions tell you, check your bias. Now post your completed template to the discussion board and offer feedback to at least 2 other classmates.  Use the criteria listed in the directions and the rubric to be sure your replies are quality (ex. affirm, identify, explain, propose).
