Today's Assignments:
- Module 6 Lesson 2 Notes and CYK
- Module 6 Lesson 2 Practice Activity
Module 6 Lesson 2 Notes and CYK
In the Lesson 2 Notes, you will learn about the format most leaders use to create great speeches. The topics of the notes include Speech Objective, Speech Opening, Speech Body, Speech Conclusion, Speech Delivery, Speech Language, and Speech Intangibles. When you screenshot your CYK results, be sure to include enough of the quiz to identify which one it is that you took.
Module 6 Lesson 2 Practice Activity - Anatomy of Famous Speeches
For this activity, you will apply what you have learned about the format of great speeches by great leaders. You will choose 2 famous speeches using the recommended site (I encourage you to listen to and to read the speech when possible) and then analyze each according to the template. Remember to fully explain your ideas -- "yes" or "no" is not a complete answer. Cite evidence from the speech to back up your ideas as well -- using quotes is the easiest way to cite evidence.
