Module 1 is due tonight by midnight.  Once the weekly deadline passes, the NCVPS Late Work Policy applies:
1st week  - 10 points for assignments graded on a 100-point scale; deductions should be applied to the final assignment grade.
2nd week - 20 points for assignments graded on a 100-point scale; deductions should be applied to the final assignment grade.
After 2nd week - 50 percentage points for assignments graded on a 100-point scale; deductions should be applied to the final assignment grade.

Reminder - If you have not responded to 2 of your classmates' Padlets for Lesson 1 Assignment, go back and do so today. If I have already posted a grade for the assignment, please send me a course message using the Canvas Inbox or notify me outside of Canvas so I know to look for your new replies.

Today's Assignment:
  • Module 1 Post-Assessment
What are the important ideas for this week?  Before you take your post-assessment, review the entire module. Read the introductions, review your Lesson 1 and Lesson 2 notes, and take a look at your practice and assignment activities as well.  Be sure to view the flash cards at the beginning of each set of notes so that you understand the vocabulary.
When you take the post-assessment, remember good test-taking skills:
  • Breathe before you open the assessment.  Relax your body so that it will help you relax your mind.
  • Read the entire question including all answers before selecting one. Look for the central idea of the question - what is the main point?
  • Check over your work before you submit it. If you have a problem submitting, try once more. If you still a problem submitting the assessment, let me know and take screenshots of your intended answers.
You will use Web 2.0 tools in this course.  This week you learned about Padlet.  Next week you will use Prezi. Preview Prezi while you review Module One with the following Prezi:
