Monday, October 24 -- Week 8 TRADITIONAL CALENDAR

Week 8 is due tonight. I hope you have returned to a regular schedule in your life -- it takes time to recover after a natural disaster.

Weeks 6-7 work will not be counted late due to Hurricane Matthew. 

All previous weeks are open allow you to make up missing assignments.  Those weeks will remain open until Monday, October 31.

Leaders get tested during natural disasters.  What are the qualities a leader should possess to handle a crisis such as Hurricane Matthew?

In Eric Stein's article "Crisis Leadership: The 4 Keys to Preparing," he explains that handing any crisis is a combination of preparation as well as strong leadership in the moment. He goes on to 

"When we judge our leaders’ and their organizations’ performance as crisis managers, it is important not only to look at how they rose (or failed to rise) to the challenge on “game day,” but also to what extent they empowered and prepared their followers, partners and citizens long before the moment of crisis. "
