Weeks 10 & 11 have a combined due date so instead of being due today, they will be due Monday. Keep in mind that Week 12 will still be due on Wednesday and Week 13 on Friday of the next week -- click on the calendar link to see a visual of your due dates.
Our course ends Friday, August 12. If you are behind, you need to make a plan and catch up. If you wish to finish early, go ahead and look at Weeks 17 & 18 so you are mentally preparing for your final exam activities. You got this!
Covey's habits are about being a well-rounded leader. I watched a documentary recently about a man who used Covey's habits (of course not by name) to lead his men out of an ambush. Master Sergeant Scott Ford received the Silver Star after serving in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. I encourage you to read a quick synopsis of Ford's leadership and then to watch a documentary recounting what happened April 6, 2008. Listen for Covey's habits -- how did Ford lead his men? How did he lead himself? How did he help his men to survive?
Take a few minutes to see leadership in a crisis and renew your American spirit. In this day of division and strife, it is important to see an example of unity.
Kudos to Jesse who continues to impress me with his reflection, his honesty, and his willingness to share.
Thanks to Madison for being a self-advocate and keeping a close eye on her grades and feedback!
